What will people think of me if I open to becoming a healer? What if people judge me?

What will people think of me if I open to becoming a healer?  What if people judge me?

Read this if you fear what people will think if you become a healer…🐺

My point of view is that what it really means when we have some fears is that we are just on the cusp of actually beginning to see what IS true for us - and that there’s just a bit more healing to do - of our wounded inner healer (who fears losing approval, bless her heart).  It’s really just a deeper call into healing ourselves (which is what our Archetypal Apothecary modality is all about - especially the first layer of SELF - OR ‘SOUL’ - HEALING).

One of the deep fears that the beautiful, sensitive women who are called to journey with Archetypal Lupa is that they find themselves stuck in wondering:

“What will people think of me if I become a healer?  What if people judge me? Can I really do this?”

And oh my heart, I so feel you in this one, if this is you, beauty.  I know how the fear of losing   a p p r o v a l   can stop us from even ‘accessing’ our deeper wisdom and wilder dreams and yearnings for a more meaningful life, living our soul purpose.

And it breaks my heart. Because especially at this point of the journey into becoming a healer, the idea of opening our hearts to our true, authentic selves can feel terrifying to even just admit to *ourselves* - let alone thinking of vulnerably expressing our deeper desires to be healers to others.

And sometimes, when we feel this fear of being judged (or worse, even rejected), we will shut down that deeper, wilder dream of ours to live an authentic life and think we can’t have been born here for this purpose after all.

Yet this isn’t really true…

My point of view is that what it really means when we have some fears is that we are just on the cusp of actually beginning to see what IS true for us - and that there’s just a bit more healing to do - of our wounded inner healer (who fears losing approval, bless her heart).  It’s really just a deeper call into healing ourselves (which is what our Archetypal Apothecary modality is all about - especially the first layer of SELF - OR ‘SOUL’ - HEALING).

In particular, if you’re finding this wounding showing up - and you wonder - ‘Can I really do this?  What if people judge me? - it’s a deeper call to work with a particular Archetypal Remedy - Archetypal Lupa (or She-Wolf).

Lupa, or Archetypal She-Wolf, is the universal symbol of motherly soul-nurture, honouring of our truth and a symbol of wildness from love - aka she’s the reclamation of our ‘authenticity’ from the wounds of (innocently learned) shaming and suppression of who we really are, for the fear of losing approval of the mundane world. Authenticity is deeply important for healers, because it's our authentic expression that becomes a remedy for others.

She Wolf is ‘wildness’ - true, heart-led, authentic, natural expression - though, arguably, in a much more *loving*, softer way than you’ll have experienced the remedy of the ‘Wolf’ before.

When working with Archetypal Remedies, because they work on a ‘like cures like’ basis (universal healing principle), we can often have this sense of having to have already ‘healed’ in order to work with them - for example, She-Wolf can represent ‘wildness’, and so we can think because we haven’t embodied ‘wildness’ that she can’t be for us because we ‘aren’t there yet’.

Yet, the truth is - She Wolf likely won’t call to you through you already feeling ‘wild’ (unless it's that you feel ‘too much’).

In fact, in my own experience (and that of guiding women over the past decade), She-Wolf will likely call to you through a *lack* of feeling wild.  She will show up, in her wounding, via people-pleasing, good girl tendencies, lack of boundary honouring, trauma around your expression - or perhaps a rebellious streak, where you have wild emotions that burst out which your shame yourself for.  She will have you doubting your wild dreams and deeper purpose, feeling caged in your mundane life, and not overstepping the mark in case people judge you or disapprove or outcast you.

In other words, Lupa - She-Wolf - will have you (innocently) dishonouring the wilder soul call you feel to opening more deeply to your true authentic spiritual healing gifts, and have you feeling FEAR of being wild.  Sometimes she may come with excitement and desire, and other times, she may come with a fear-based “No” to the idea of threatening your ‘safety’ by opening to her Remedy, even when she is truly aligned for you (I so feel your heart if you’re simultaneously resonating with her whilst also resisting her - it makes perfect sense).

So, if you’re feeling this fear, know this: it’s really all a deeper call to self-healing and alchemising your fear of losing approval, so you can open your heart to who you are really here to be - to the healer your soul was born to be…

A fear of ‘wildness’ - or shame of your ‘wildness’ being ‘too much’ is how Lupa calls to us.

Your work is to learn how to harness the mama She-Wolf deep self-nurturing, and soul-honouring, so that if you’re feeling the call, you can step in anyway and open your heart to the mama wolf energy of the remedy Lupa is serving, which will help you begin to more fully open to your wildest dreams, tenderly, and unapologetically

‘Lac lupinum’ - She-Wolf mama’s milk - is the Archetypal Remedy we will be journeying with in our upcoming journey beginning in May - and she’s the ultimate symbol of the self-motherly nurture that’s required by healers to help them keep choosing to honour their souls.  She will have you lying on the soft belly of the wolf, beginning to reclaim your true self, loving your wildness and opening to remembering the intuitive, spiritual woman you are - the woman who was born to be a healer - until your inner Wild Woman feels *safe* to come home (because she's already within, beyond the taming).

The question is: will you answer her howls and step into join us - even through the fear?

All of you is so, so welcome here, my love - including the parts of you that shame, fear and guilt and berate yourself as you walk the path of becoming a healer (for yourself and others).  I know the wolf gets ‘bad press’ sometimes.  She can be an archetypal remedy that brings up some fear, but we’ll be working with a specific aspect of her - in particular, her self-mothering nurturing energy (as a protective mama wolf) - the Archetypal essence of ‘Lac lupinum’ (or She-Wolf mama’s milk) - soft, tender, yet Feminine, intuitive and natural - to reclaim your wildness from love.

I’m here to love you if you’ve any questions - even and especially the ones that ask “can I really choose to open to my wildness, what if people judge me?” - respond to this blog.

Oh, and because it’s Full Moon, what are you being called to release, as you howl to the moon?  Perhaps it’s that one fear that’s in the way of you clicking ‘join’, despite your heart calling you to your wildness.

All my love,

if you've any questions, send me an email.
